My cold has resolved itself – finally – and I though now would be a great time to slowly work my way into fitness again.
Instead of being a cardio bunny, I am utilising weights to tone up and a healthy diet. It has worked for me in the past, and I prefer the way I look when I lift, rather than focus only on cardio.
So, I thought I would share my little routine that I do. I use a 6kg medicine ball, 5kg dumbbells and 1.5 kg dumbbells
20 x hammer curls
20x triceps kick backs
20x bicep curls
20x squat with over head press
20x row with flies in squat
20x laying tricep extensions
20x dumbbell shoulder raises
20x push ups
Repeat 3-4 times, depending on how jelly your arms are!
Don’t forget to stretch at the end.
